The Local FM Network commenced transmitting in the northwest of Western Australia in April 2004. We are the only radio network that is privately owned and operated in the Pilbara. We are a small company with offices in Port Hedland, Karratha and Perth, and have a vision to provide the people of the northwest of Australia with a true radio alternative, by providing a 24 hour country music station, playing a mix of Today's Hot Country and a selection of Country Classics PLUS providing local information.

The Local FM Network has transmitters in Carnarvon, Karratha, Port Hedland and Broome. Our listeners work in a diverse range of industries that include Fishing, Mining (Iron Ore & Salt), Natural Gas and Tourism.
  We are a expanding our coverage!  
Soon our network will cover the towns of Onslow and Exmouth.
